That title didn't just come from years in a design school or hours of online education. I can remember teaching myself at 8 how to draw on the computer, using the program PAINT (remember this from the old Macs?), helping with the school yearbook, interning as a designer at the local newspaper, and creating fun invites and graphics for my friends and family.
 
I then pursued my passion and graduated from college in 2004 with a degree in graphic design. After working as a designer for a year at a local newspaper, I landed my first position as an advertising coordinator for a real estate company in Iowa City, IA. Little did I know back in 2005 that real estate would become my thing - I absolutely love it! Although I may not have a license to sell, what I get to do is even better. I have the opportunity to support those agents and help them show up, stand out, look good and save time!
 
After 18 years (say whaaa?!?!), and trying a few different career paths, I have come to realize that helping real estate agents is what I am meant to do. So, at the end of 2021, I took a huge leap of faith and left my full-time marketing position with a local real estate company to open my own design and marketing studio exclusively for real estate agents.
